I have no idea how to make songs but I was screwing around tonight trying to make a part and I came up with this. I tried to make it after the part on first date by blink 182. I didnt look at the tab I did it by ear. heres mine

Can anyone tell me if mine is correct music wise because it sounds very good to me. Also can someone show a sight or something of how you make songs cause I have no idea how to I just know you base it off scales. PS I know the major scale. Thanks

The power chords in that are C, E, F, G, all which are in the C major scale. So yes, it is correct musically.
