Edit2: Long story short. Hendrix album, it's got the classics, I'm into him more, and also has some stuff like "Night Bird Flying", used to listen to that album a lot. Anyway, to be honest I wouldn't get either- simply because I don't dig compilations or best of's- get the originals, it's what sound engineers are for.

I've got the hendrix one, it's good as strong wizard said, it's got the classics so if you want something you know will be good (i'm assuming you like hendrix) then you should get this...i don't know about the Eric Clapton one.

I don't trust all this greatest hits junk. You should get some regular album. I would prefer one of these:
