Aus Rotten are really considered anarcho I think. They're still kind of associated with the crusty scene though.

I really don't listen to any crust at all, sorry.

Actually, they listen to Crustacean Rock.... like Rock Lobster

As in scary greaser horror spaceman surf rock like the B52s played?

In other news, I've been reading a lot about punk in the 80's, and it turns out that original crusties were the Exploited's fans.

I can't stand Crust punk. I cant sit there and listen to every single crust band bitch about the same thing on every song they write. The things they sing about are important social issues, but when some of the bands makes albums about it and do nothing else, then i dont have respect for them and dont see the point in saying theyre trying to make a change. It's one thing to make songs about what you want changed in the world, but if oyu dont act upon it, then its just ****in stupid.

Actually, a good majority of them practice what they preach.

I know some of them of them do, I didnt mean for it to sound like i was putting down every crust punk band out there. From what I know or in my area at least, alot of them are like i described before.

Even the music smells funny.
My style is impetuous.
My defense is impregnable, and I'm just ferocious.

Rancid are the best punk band ever.

Tim Armstrong is a songwriting genius, is a complete fashion diva and has an incredible singing voice.

He doesn't sound like Opie from family guy at all.

The only crust I really listen to is Filth, and I think they're pretty good.

what kind of metal is she into?

Like, really technical metal. Not metalcore, but the rweally technical grindcore and stuff. She also likes Slayer and a bunch of thrash. Good amount of power metal too.

She's more into the newer bands than the older bands, which is where we differ in metal tastes.
