The day finalllly came and my hunter green S520EX arrived, along with Dimarzio S Sonic and Air Norton pickups

Here's some pics:

Thanks for the help that you guys provided I was able to seek out this guitar and its awesome tremolo setup, and decided to go with the pickups that also arrived today

Luckily the setup was pretty clean and the intonation out of the factory seems great, but I did order some Dimarzio F Spaced D sonics for the bridge and an Air Norton for the neck that a guy I know is putting in next week and re-setting up for my thicker strings.

And because I know nothing about the neck gap that I've seen threads about before on most Ibanez guitars, how is this gap on mine:

And sorry for the blurry quality of some of the pics. My camera isn't the greatest in the world

Thanks for all of the positive comments on it guys

It's going to be sitting next to its big brother Gibson Explorer tomorrow after I get another stand, but for tonight it will take front seat

But does anyone know about the neck gap and if that width is pretty good/bad?
#15
The neck gap is alright, shouldn't affect the playing or sound in any ways.

If by the stop bar you mean the metal plate at the end to which the screws are attached, then no, you can't.
You've read it, you can't un-read it!

You got every single thing you mentioned wrong.

The bridge is the ZR Bridge and the amp is a B-52 AT-212 Tube Combo.

Yeah its definitely not the color for everyone :p

I got the green because I already have a glossy finish on my explorer, and I personally do like it.

I believe I helped you choose this, wonderful guitar, brilliant pickups.
enjoy my friend

Yes you were one of the ones that helped out the most.

I'm amazed at how it sounds with stock pickups and can't wait to hear it with the dimarzios \m/

No not really.

The neck is a much slower profil to the wizard one on the original S series.
The body is way thicker than the original S series.
The trem is worse (I don't like the Zr)
