Yesterday night I saw Muse. It was absolutely amzing. I am not even sure how to describe it to anyone who is going to ask me how it was on monday.

If you like Muse, you must see them live. There is no comparison from CD to Live, it just blew me away.

Let me put it this way: Last year, I saw Iron Maiden at the Verizon Ampitheatre. This year, I saw Muse at the Verizon Ampitheatre, and it was better, more fun, and saw a greater show than Maiden put on.

Huge screens in the back with colors and images and words to go along with the song words, always sychronized to the beat, the tv's had Matt bellamy all distored and colored on screen.

Also, I have a new found respect for Matt Bellamy as a guitarist. He manipulated the sounds so well, it was like Jimi was up there or something. Also, the solo's impressed me as a guitarist. He is great at tapping, for a second I thought I was watching Joe Satriani or something.

The band sounds so awesome live, I thought they were just playing the CD at times, there were no mess ups, and the songs were changed a bit and there were some intros to songs of just jamming, like a bit of a jazz jam went on before Plug In Baby.

They also played songs like Hysteria, Time is Running Out, Feeling Good, and Stockholm Syndrome at the encore.

It was just amazing. If you like muse, you MUST see them live. Oh and mad respect for the opening bands immigrant and Julliete and the Licks. Julliete was great, and all the songs were really rockin'.

I saw them at Oxegen this year, and despite being on the verge of falling asleep where i stood, they were beyond words on all levels. Musically, visually and atmospherically perfect. Before I saw them I thought they were pretty good, but now I think they are phenominal. Bellamy is an extremely talented pianist, guitarist, singer and showman. I agree with TS, you simply have to see it to believe it.

i tend to agree muse are an amazing experience live

But better than maiden? now thats just taking things to far

No not really, it's my opinion so I can take it anywhere I want.

in my opinion Muse is better than Maiden live. Maiden just run around a lot.

Well anyways, the show was in Irvine California, and the place was sold out. So many people!

But yeah you really have to go to understand how good they are.

Good to see they're being appreciated

I've seen the 3 times now, including at Wembley in the summer, which was ****ing AWESOME. Plug in Baby there was probably my favourite moment in a concert ever. Bellamy's a god

I was there too. There were no songs from Showbiz though . Still the greatest concert ever. Juliette and the Licks were kinda iffy though. The band was good, but either a) her vocals were mixed poorly or b) she doesn't come up with interesting melodies for her songs. All in all, greatest concert ever.

TS, where were you sitting?

Awesome to see two fellow UGers were there!!! We got tickets a little late, so I was sitting in
the Terrace, Row HHH seats 1 and 2 (my girlfriend went with me) in section 12. A little far away, but still awesome.

Plug in Baby was amazing, and the solo to Invincible was as well.

I saw them at Roskilde Festival. Honestly, I wasn't that impressed. I'm not really fond of huuuge arena concerts. I really prefer smaller venues.

I saw them at Wembly. Great playing and song choice. Awesome show. But by god the PA was a peice of s***. Still, they all worked so well together that Stockholm Syndrome was still awsome with almost only bass and drums. I wanted to kill the guys at the mixing desk.

But not as good as Maiden at Earl's Court.
