Well, as a few of you may know, I can't stand Apple, or any of their products...(iPods included)......

up until now.

I think they've finally done it, they've won me over (on at least 1 product) and that's the iPod Touch. Wow that thing is freakin sweet (and of course, I just got a zune a few weeks ago...now I wish I wouldn't have).

So does anyone out there have an iPod Touch? If so...what are the pros/cons that you have observed? (Other than the screen getting messed up and pplaying videos really dark).
I don't know why Mac users get so defensive when you call them idiots. I mean, Apple is a company that has built its entire user base around the fact that its users can't do simple things like turn their computers on.

lol a Zune??

They still make those?

I love my ipod. But the bad thing is is that they fail after every 1-2 years or so.
I prefer the nano or the video to the touch.

I actually prefer the pc to the mac.

I don't have one.

I don't want one.

They're a waste of money, IMO.

You'are spending at least $400 on something that only has 8GB or 16GB worth of memory, and the ONLY cool thing about them is the touch screen.

Woopty-doo.

I would rather save my money and get the 80GB. I'm not looking for touch screens on my iPod, or having WiFi, I'm worried about having enough space to hold my shitload of music.

While they are a cool idea, and great for people who only have a few GB of music, it's not THAT great when you're a music lover and collecter. They're too damn small.

It looks pretty stupid to me. 16 GB for like $400 to me is a rip off.

i actually think that the touch is the worst product they've come out with in awhile

it's basically an iphone with alot less space and features but almost just as expensive

iPhone has the same amount of space. Also, iPhone is a ****load more when you include the $60 a month it costs for the service. I really want a touch...

wtf is a zune? sounds like some weird anime porn or something, anyways, if the iPhone doesn't come to Canada by March, i'm getting a touch, and Apple owns

and you think the wi-fi for the touch is free?

I love my nano, I've had it for nearly a year (one of the new generation ones, not the video). But it's broken about 6 times in like 10 months

It's WiFi. Just like the WiFi in your laptop. It picks up an Internet signal just like a laptop or a PSP. You don't have to pay a monthly fee.

The ipod touch is totally revolutionary! Instead of searching through 160 gigs of music with the touch of my finger, I can now quickly access through 8 gigs using the touch of my finger.
Is it a bad thing if one of your testicles is larger then the other two?

i dont hate it and i dont love it. sure a touch screen is cool, but not necessary. im content with my 80gb video. if i got one free, i would use it for the wifi, and use my other ipod for ipod stuff. imo the touch isnt really an ipod. its just an ipod product with some cool features plus an added harddrive for music.

Not buying it.

I'm waiting for an iPod that can hover and also for a feature that would let me watch a real-time live video of Nelly Furtado from a satellite.

I'm thinking about getting an 80gb "classic" ipod (5.5 generation) they're $250. I have an ipod but it has a battery problem and it's an old 4g, no color screen, no video.

Exactly. Didn't you just use your finger on the old ones too? Instead of touching a white circle, you now touch and leave marks all over the screen!
