I was just looking over musicians friends.... I was just wondering what the difference between the fender classic Player '60s
(http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-Classic-Player-60s-Stratocaster?sku=512767)

vs the Fender Classic Series 60's
(http://www.musiciansfriend.com/product/Fender-60s-Stratocaster-Electric-Guitar?sku=510135)
70's Japan Greco SuperPower
Amps: '65 TRRI - Peavey Classic 50 4x10 - Epiphone VJ Head (Modded) - 2x12 Celestion Greenback Cab
FX: BK Tube Driver - EH Small Stone - MXR CC
Acoustics: Breedlove ADSM20 - Alveraz 5021 12-String

More 60's specific era pickups, custom colours, 2 point tremolo and C shape neck.

It's worth going for the players if you can, but the classic series will be 100% fine too.

hehe, i like the convo you guys are having...

I've heard switching out the pickups for Hot Noiseless was like a requirement of the series---is this the same for the players?

Not nessesary to be honest. I have a 50's classic series and I think the pickups are fine. Obviously if I had the cash I would upgrade to BKP apache's.
