I want a new amp, and i want one with LOADS of knobs and effects. I've been looking around and found these:
Crate FW120
Marshall MG250DFX (Heard this was crap but i have an MG 10CD and its good. I think the y meant it sucks for gigs.)
B-52 AT-212 (Expensive as hell, but I hear its great)
Fender Frontman 212DSP Knobs Galore!
Line 6 Spider III 150 (Might be too expensive, but I want it sooo bad)
Carvin SX300
Behringer GMX212 Leaning towards this.

So thats all of them. If you think theres another one I should consider please feel free to tell me. I'm trying to keep it under $500 though.

behringer aren't that great...but marshall's are amazing except they have a tendancy to break...but crates are good for metal and such...

Mg, frontman, and spider should stay away from. The majority of this board will say the same. I don't know about the particular model but carvin makes good amps.
Gear
Custom Fender Strat
Oscar Schmidt Acoustic
VK 112
Epi VJ
EHX Holy Grail
Ibanez DE7 Delay
Modded Tubescreamer TS7 -> TS-808
Strat Knockoff

tone = more important than knobs.

for instance: marshall MG ~ 10 knobs vs. epi valve junior = 1 knob.

valve junior wins by infinity.

the b-52 is the best out of those, i'm guessing you play higher gain music?
Gibson SG Standard + 18volt EMG-81 & 85
Mesa/Boogie Mark IV + Recto 2x12
Keeley Modded BD-2

wow thats a terrible list
wow lol
anyway, you dont need 100 or 250w or whatever, unless your gigging and if you are you dont want any of these amps, look at small tube amps and maybe some FX pedals

B-52 in my opinion just because it is tube, and most of the others are terrible.

Have you checked out roland cubes, and vox valvetronix/XL?
Guitar:
Epiphone Les Paul Standard
Amplifier:
Fender Blues Junior - Eminence Red, White and Blues
Effects:
Fulltone OCD
Electro-Harmonix Nano Small Stone
Ibanez DE-7 Delay/Echo
Dunlop Crybaby
Electro-Harmonix Big Muff Pi

I guess you play metal?

Best one out of that list is the B-52 by a country mile.
ALL of the other ones are utter crap.
Honestly, don't even glance at them

B-52, it's a tube, and is gonna have a much better tone than anything else. whatever you do, DO NOT get the Marshall, the Crate and DEFINATLY NOT THE BERHINGER

Do you think the B-52 is better for heavier stuff?

the B-52 is better than all of those amps for anything, but yeah, it's aimed at heavier, higher-gain stuff

Out of those get the b-52, i had an mg when they first came out, i thought it was awsome, get a real amp and you will relize it blows. the line 6 is not the the best, it is good for the bedroom, but doesn't sound great at volume. Save up a little more, spend some money on a quaility amp and you will be way happier you did.

The B52 is the only one worth considering so it wins by default...de fault of all the other amps in your list being gash.
Actually called Mark!

I'm sure he actually meant it's a tube amp. There's really no way he could expect the threadstarter to play through just a tube.
But totally get the B-52, it smashes everything else that you listed.
