ok...so ive pinpointed how to get the sound i want....i need to tune to c and up my gauge...i currently have .009's and i want to go to .011....whats need to be adjusted to make these work properly?

neck tension...... and also if you have a FloydRose or other vibrato brigde you'll have to adjust the spring tension..... then you should be fine

Maybe nothing apart from intonation if you're dropping the tuning. on projectguitar.com, there's a string tension calculator, if you get similar figures, you won't have to touch your truss rod

also sand the slots for the strings at the nut if you dont have a locking nut
