American? Yes.
Canadian? Yes.
Pounds? No. That'd be about $1700 in American.

Hmmm this guy says:

"It is above a standard. Has Anico's. LG markers.
Cost me 1150.00 plus tax. 1299.00 at guitar center. Reg SG Standard has black pickups not chrome covers. other than the pickguard I had made by WD it is stock."

What the hell is he talking about. if its "above" a Standard why does it cost less?

SG Standard has Nickel covers. This guy has no idea what he's talking about.

It looks ebony, but if you look at the pictures below the post I quoted that from, you can see its rosewood.

It doesn't have any of the telltale counterfeit hallmarks as far as I can tell... But I still can't figure out what the seller thinks he's talking about...

Hmm... that looks really rosewood-y to me though. Also, pictures and specs on MF say rosewood.

Ok, update he said this

"Hi, I called Guitar Center to get a clarification.
I do not want to mislead you. The SG with the blk humbucker is the SG SPECIAL. And the SG Faded. My model number EBCHI which I was told indicates Ebony Custom but it is what it is. Mine sells there for 1299.99 plus tax."

I still don't understand, anyone else?
#29
What he means by Black humbuckers is that the pickups on the SG Special and Faded don't have any covers, let alone nickel ones. All it is is a Black SG Standard with a custom pickguard from WD. As long as the electronics are all good to go, I'd buy it, but I would ask the seller if you can take it to have it checked out at your local guitar tech to make sure he's not ****ing you over with neck/headstock/body problems/cracks/blemishes and such.
