He's a genius

just cos you use a slr camera or show some depth of field dosnt mean that its always a professional pciture.
nice guitar man
yerp im sure ill add something amazing here some day.

Yup, Warmoth neck. The neck pocket was measured and etched in prior to the cutting. We just used a dremmel w/ sanding bit as relatively little removal of wood was needed.

I'm gonna report this thread, not because of the threadstarter, but because most everyone that's posted has been a dick. I don't want it to be closed, I just want a mod to clean up all the assholes.

Nice guitar though. The neck is nice.

I wouldn't say it's wrong, I'd say it's different. He's going for the darkness. It's all subjective, anyways.

And nice looking guitar.

EDIT: I would agree on reporting it, you guys are all too skeptical.

That is sexy and nice work for changing a six to a seven!

I love seven strings, I also love strats, and Kahlers are awesome too, I also noticed the DiMarzio JP signature. . you are the man after my heart.

Would you mind posting a pic with you, the guitar, and a sign with "MrPillow" written somewhere on it? I really can't believe you built that beast.

would you shut the heck up already? you dont have to be so freaking critical of everything. there is already enough in this thread to show he helped build it. next person to respond with something like what i quoted gets a warning. you dont wanna be helpful/nice, you can gtfo.

I've had some success with free-handing, but for crucial areas like the neck joint I'd have to use a template. I'm far too sissy about ruining a body or a neck...Gibson or First Act, I feel like complete crap whenever I see a broken guitar.
#27
That looks sexy as hell man, I'm loving the Kahler. I just think a painted headstock would look better, or at least with some sort of logo on it... Your signature, something like that.

I'm not usually a fan of diamond plate pickguards, but it suits this really nice.
Looks awesome

edit: why are there no knobs on it, just the pot shafts sticking out? And are you planning on putting black or silver knobs on it? either would compliment the colour scheme.
#29
It has no knobs for we have yet to find any that fit -_-. Something will go on there eventually. Thanks for all the comments!

The neck inlays and headstock look pretty cool. That 7 String trem looks like a monster

I'm with Punk_Ninja, not to mention it looks unique.

How much does the beast weigh ... 1950s LP territory? Warmoth neck + Kahler, quite expensive, how much did it cost?
