k i pulled a noob and disconnected my ipod when it said "DO NOT DISCONNECT" only cause i'd tried everything i could to eject it and for some odd reason it didn't want to. then it stopped working. i put it back onto itunes and it says its corrupted and needs reformatting so i click reformat... it prepares for reformat, loads up something on the ipod like its about to reformat and then it just stops. i keep on having to reclick reformat and it does the same thing. i've tried reformatting manually through my computer and that doesn't work. any ideas how to fix it? thanks

If youve still got ur warranty u shud take it in to be fixed. Either they fix it or u get a new one. Win win?

I do that all the time out of pure laziness and nothing's ever happened to me. I doubt it was that alone that caused it... your ipod probably has deep psychological issues that only a trip to the Apple store can fix.
you got soul, or so you say. hey, i say you don't!
