I need to replace the pot on my phase 90, i've done the R28 and had a custom paint job done but the pot got broken in the process, it says that it's a 470K. First, would it be Linear or Logarithmic? also is it possible to find a pot that would work better and maybe give more sweep than the 470K?

Reverse log would work best for that. You could use linear, but the taper will be a bit off.

I did replace it once already but it's not working so well, the sweep is bunched towards the end of the pot, but i can't remember if i put in a log or a linear...which is the one with the more gradual curve?

Strange, i noticed that a lot of the schematics had 500K pots but mine has a 470K. Thanks anyway, now i must just try to locate a shop that seels it, not so easy in Ireland

maybe mine's a clone and its kinda hard to get 470k so i have 500k?

30k difference in a 500k pot isn't a lot. you're good to go.
