It's one of those things you just have to learn how to do, there's no method, just a good musical ear, wich no one can tell you how to develop, other than to listen to lots of music. The only suggestion I have is to try and listen for intervals, say "okay, that power chord sounds a whole step higher than this one" so on and so forth.

google pitch coach i have been using that and its been helpfull, although that solfege thing looks pretty good because it has you sing the pitches, id check them both out.

these guys are playing with a 7string guitar, so very low playing indeed.....have u taken that into consideraton=?
