So, I'm thinking of buying an electric (yet again), and had these two guitars picked out, and I cant make my mind up on which one to buy, so I thought that I'd ask you guys for some help.

The first one is a Zakk Wylde les paul copy (done in the bullseye paint job), Made by "Stirling", with all the below features

ROSEWOOD FRETBOARD WITH MOTHER OF PEARL INLAYS
SET-IN MAPLE NECK WITH BINDING
TWIN SUPER HOT HUMBUCKING PICKUPS
2 x TONE AND 2 x VOLUME CONTROLS
RYTHM/TREBBLE SELECTOR SWITCH
SOLID ALDER WOOD DOMED BODY
HIGH QUALITY PADDED SOFT CASE
BONUS SET OF STRINGS, LEAD, ALLEN KEYS AND PICK
HOT ZAKK WYLDE HIGH GLOSS FINISH

I'd give a picture but I'm computer illiterate so...

And the other is a J-series (also cant get a picture, dammit!) made by stirling, hard to describe, (but at the moment, I just wanted to know which had the best features) has the following features...

SET-IN MAPLE NECK WITH BINDING
ROSEWOOD FRETBOARD
TWIN HOT HUMBUCKING PICKUPS
FLOYD ROSE PATENT LOCKING TREMOLO
SOLID ALDER WOOD BODY
CUSTOM MADE HIGH QUALITY PADDED SOFT CASE
BONUS SET OF STRINGS, LEAD, ALLEN KEYS AND PIC
HOT HIGH GLOSS FLAMING FINISH

The J-series has more room to move (the body starts right back at 24)

gah, sorry I couldn't get any pictures of 'em, but if you could give a bit of feedback on what I said, that would be great, and If someone could tell me how to put pictures in, that'll be great too.

Cheers.

I would go floyd rose

but it's your choice

dunno what that J looks like but I do know the zakk wylde stuff

that always looks nice

but I would go floyd

Its a licensed floyd.
Be wary of the quality.

Otherwise both are pretty similiar. I'd get the zack wylde one, because if you want to change tunings and gauges, the floyd is a pain in the back end to use.

the only thing you realy have to watch with the floyd are the finetuners bad threads or something like that

not only with licensed floyds but also with originals

ifthey are handeld unapropiatly they can be a nightmare to fine tune
just watch out for that for the rest can't be much more wrong with a floyd (at least nog as far as you can feel)

stuff that could be wrong with a floyd:
1) Bad saddles and nut grooves(could affect stability)
2)Bad knife edges
3)Bad threads on the nut and string locks.
4)Bad mounting

All of these would hurt your tuning like crazy so get those checked as well.

Ok, considering I know nothing about this company -

Very few guitar makes offer a good FR copy, something that can take a good beating and still have sharp knife edges, and will sit tight in its groove for well over a year. So, do be VERY careful.

I'd say go with the LP copy, as its much easier to maintain and tune and change strings. IMO, if you're gonna go FR, get a good one.

Cheers.

Dont get the zakk wylde, people will think you're a douche.
Why can't you just get a stirling les paul copy?
