Yeahh, i need help on deciding which electric guitar i should get.
Cause i`m getting a new one and i need to decide which one.
Can anyone tell me the difference between them, or which one you recommend?
OR can anyone tell me what guitar you personally suggest?

Thanks. >;]

start off by what amp you have, how much money your willing to spend, what your musically tastes are.
#3
ha, um.
i have like a drive cd 200 amp which is like 12x12.
and i have a $200 discount at that store on any guitar.
and my musical tastes or likeee, umm rock, jazz -ish?

Mexican Strat, its usually 400 dollars if u have a discount u can get it at the price of a squire xD
#8
lmao, i have a first act electric.
my sister got it somewhere for $75
my guitar teacher said it was horriblee.
but probably just the one we got, cause it was crappy.
the strings were like way too high off the guitar.
#10
um, without the discount.
so like 300-800 regular, and 100-600 with the discount.

No man. Get a first act, theyre the best for every type of music. wellmade too.

dont listen to him

i say try both out look at the feel, sound, comfort etc for you. then look at different models such as highway 1, deluxe player etc. look outside the MIM as you can afford better.
#13
wait...i was also thinking of getting an epiphone, but from what i heard, it's all looks.
are they any good?
#15
lol, okayokay, but how much are "good" amps?
and if so, which kind?
sorry if i'm asking for a lot. =P
#16
Good amps would be tube such as Vox, Fenders (High end only please)

A vox one would be an AC15 1x12 $599
a fender Blues deluxe reissue $649
a crate rfx200S $499
a palomino v32 1x12 $499

FIRST ACT MAKES A GREAT AMP! call around and see if any carries the First Act PI3C3. its solid state but they do a greta job of making sound come out of the speaker!
#20
haha, i have a first act portable amp that's like 6x6.

but still...
i'm buying the guitar tomorrow.
and like my choices are basically...
a bunch of different types of epiphones.
and a bunch of different fenders.

^learn to spell. and les paul standards aren't the best for the price. best for the price would be Epiphone Classic Quilt Top Les Paul for $500, or the Epiphone Les Paul Custom for $600. my choices.

don't get the low end Gibsons though. they're suckers.

whats with these people that refuse to upgrade there $40 amp when they are going to spend hundreds of dollars on a guitar, when they already have a decent one and with a new amp they would get that special sound they want out of that new guitar
#29
Gibsons under $1000.

and yes. pick up a guitar and an amp.

look for:
Fender Standard Stratocaster $400
Crate Palomino V16 $350
Sub-Total: $750
Discount: $-200
Total: $550

sweet.

Um, my current electric is a $75 First Act Electric that my sister got from Tj Maxx (Yes, the low-priced clothing store), and a drive wildfire black guitar that's missing the pickup select thing, so it's just a big hole.
#32
Lol, i'm willing to get like a 100-250 dollar amp, but my mom would be like "WHY U NED NEW AMP? U ALREDY HAZ ONE THAT U GOT FRM U FREND!!?!!!"
Ha, not really, but yeah.
#34
HELL YEAH DUDE! FIRST ACT RULEZ! Stick with it man itll take u places. Mos def upgrade the amp though. i suggest u buy a boombox with an audio video line in, get an adaptor cable and plug u guitar into that. that way u can play along with some of the greatest guitar players of all time like johnny cash and the guy from winger
#35
lol, yeah i'll prob be getting a new amp also though.
but what like features does a good amp have?
like what would it look like.
(still looking for pictures of the guitars at the store)

at your price range having decent onboard effects, and for any amp no matter how much you spend it has to match your "sound" of clean and high gain.
