There's a guitar on ebay that's a Faded V with ZW EMG's in the bridge and the neck. I'm netiher thrilled or dissappointed about that, but yeah. Anyone got a couple guesses on how much it SHOULD be worth. Take into account MusiciansFriend is selling their Faded V's at 580. Thanks a lot.

EMGs are a pretty penny too buy and a bitch to install.

I'd pay up to 600 CAD for it.

Id say $650 or $700 if EMGs are that bad to install. maybe more.
Used Faded V- $550
EMGs-$200 for both
Installation/work-$25-$50, based on quality and time taken.
Total-$800 american?

Yeah right now it's 550 US, and to get it here it'd be about 50-75 so it'd cost me about 600-625.

I know EMG's get the metal pretty well, but is THAT all they can do or are they pretty overrated?

emgs are swesome man... they are better suited for metal but they can still do other stuff too... try a guitar somewhere that has them n see if you like them... id say thats a good deal though

used Gibson Faded V's usually hold their value pretty well but since it has EMGs, those should actually detract from their value.

There isn't a place I can really try it out before hand unless I battle with a right-handed Les Paul Custom, but I'll be able to try the V out in a week or so seeing as I bought it.

Regardless of the work done, it should be priced no more than around 600.00 US like the others said.

with EMGs its been set up for metal, id pay up to $650 for it, theyre good guitars and mahogany and EMGs are made for one another. EMGs are good, if your looking for a solid clean tone not so much though, i switched back to duncan passives because i use alot more clean tones now, but EMGs are great for soloing and metal riffs
