Does the peavey valveking 212 sound good with pedals such as digitech RP250>?

well a multi effects pedal (especially a digitech) doesnt really sound good through any amp. analog pedals like overedrive sound really good through tube amps though

Why do you want to use a multi-effects unit with it? What sort of effect/tone are you looking for?

It'll probably sound better than it does thru your current amp. As you progress, you'd be wise to start building an individual stompbox collection. Start with a good OD pedal. You won't be sorry.
