I have several questions concerning pedalboards, how to power them, etc.

1. How do I power my pedals when many of them have different types of input jacks? I've got a Vox Wah (which doesn't even have any input), Big Muff Pi, Small Stone, Boss DD-3, and soon, a chorus. How will I power these when they all have different inputs?

2. How should I go about acquiring a pedalboard? Homemade?

1) To cover you with all the different adaptors from different manufactureres, I feel I should point you in the direction of the Diago Powerstation

http://www.diago.co.uk/pedal-power/pedal-power/

Comeswith some adaptors plus you can buy virtually any type to fit your gear collection. Its small and compact too, not like those stupid expensive power 'bricks'

2) Home made...all the way. Cheaper for a start. And you can just have fun making your own design/style, fitting your pedalboard to your gear, and not your gear to your pedalboard (if you buy pre-built).

imo, visual 1 spot adapter kit for $30.

make sure you buy a 9 volt adapter for a couple more bucks if it's not in the kit.
and plug that where the battery goes on the vox.

looks like it's in this one...

get a cheap marshall... my MG15DFX has a button that simulates the sound of one of the expensive tube marshall amps.

^ for many reasons, if you want a power supply, you should buy one.
