Who's your favorite musician who does not play any of the following:

Vocals (Vocalists are musicians)
Guitar (including Bass)
Drums
Keyboards (From Rock keyboards to Piano, Organ, Harpdichord, etc.)

I would have to go with Miles Davis.

I don't even have any favorite rock musicians, so I don't think I could give an answer.

PS - Holy shit, you make a lot of threads!

One more and you'll have made as many as me. o.O

Looking back on my thread-starting, the words "Non-Rock instrument" weren't a very good choice, because obviously all of those instruments go outside of Rock.

Now THAT's what I call a "Revolutionary" etude. She also plays a mean Rach 2. And she has a Liszt video up as well; 'tis very good.

I tried to leave a comment in her guestbook a couple of weeks ago, but the buttoms are all in some other language.

I hate to jump on the band wagon but its miles davis for me. Its amazing how insanely talented he was, not to forget that he pretty much invented modal jazz and Jazz fusion.

Also BB King is a big favorite. He has such an incredibly soulful style and voice.

What an horrible pun .

I've actually learned about that in music class a couple of weeks ago.

Well at least I didn't say "an" before "horrible".

Oddly enough I saw "an hypothesis" in a textbook yesterday...

I don't care if it's correct. IT'S WEIRD.

The Chopin etude? That's not fair. I never got anything like that at my school.

ANYWAYS, I just saw the piano musicians aren't allowed. Crap.

I'm confused.. If keyboards aren't allowed, can I say Thelonious Monk?

Anyhoo.. Madcap, I feel it is my duty to tell you to listen to the music of a man named Fela Kuti. Miles Davis was my favorite horn player until I stumbled across Fela Kuti.. His music is more danceable, and sometimes more interesting.
