Well, my buddy is selling me his Aria Pro II guitar (I believe that's what it is)
I know it's not the greatest, but I plan on making it my *main* stage guitar.
I'll need to get a new tremelo (floyd rose) and pickups
Now, there's a couple of things:
1) What are the specs on this guitar (photos will be included) - model, years, etc.
2) What setup of pickups should I use? I wnat to put EMGs into it, but I have no idea which to use. I can fit 2 humbuckers and 2 single coils.
3) What type of tremelo (probably floyd rose) should I use on it?
I'll be using it for may main metal guitar, and I want to be able to do trem tricks with it, and use it as a stage guitar.
The pictures aren't of the one I'll be buying, it's of one I found on the internet. Mine's the same, but it has green markings instead.

So, what should I do? I'll be playing a fair bit of metal on it, and I listen to Wylde, Bodom, maiden, etc.

Thanks

edit:
Mine has shark fin inlays. ifI get the chance, I'll take a pic or two of the one I'm buying

I would avoid it. Aria Pro II had a nice one of those with Shark Fins and a Floyd copy. I've heard those are plywood too. More trouble (routing, probably need to respace the trem posts, then making a shelf for the nut) to put a Floyd in then it would be worth. I don't think those played as good or were built as well as the early RS Knight Warriors either.

EDIT: Just caught your edit. It has a Floyd right? If it has Sharkies it should. The Floyds on those were good. Use it. As for pickups, what amp will you be using? I would advise looking into EMGs, or Maybe DiMarzio, like a Super Distortion or ToneZone for the bridge and Choppers for the single coils.

I think it dies have a floyd, not sure, My friends took the nut and put it on his Jackson RR3, so if nohing else, I might need new one of those.

Not sure exactly what amp I'll be using, I'm going to be in the market soon for one.

As for pickups I was thinking EMGs probably, but no idea which ones to use. Not sure if I'll even ned the EMGs, but so far that sems to be what I'll use.
