how would i do that with a fender hot rod deluxe. like what do i plug into what

there should be a quarter inch output somewhere one the amp.


EDIT: On the top of that amp there is a quarter inch output that says PREAMP OUT run a cable from that to the quarter inch input on the cab. Simple as that.

The "preamp out" is basically an effects send. The signal isn't powered and will barely be audible through the cabinet.

unplug the speaker jack and plug a speaker cable in there, connect to ur cab.

even better, put the speaker cable from ur cab into an "Ext. Spkr Out" jack.
