hey what are better strings for my stylee of play, Reggae?

D'Addario EXL120 Nickel Super Light Electric Guitar Strings
Gauges 09-11-16-24-32-42

or

D'Addario EXL110 Nickel Regular Light Electric Guitar Strings
Gauges 10-13-17-26-36-46

i use the regulars now, but wondered if the super lights would be better?

any help?

on electric strings; don't really affect your tone its your amp just add treble cuz thats all you can really do man

yeah i know, but would 9's be better than 10's? always wondered but never tried the 9's. on my low distortion, it kinda would matter

9's have a slappy pop punch sound IMO. I like them. If you can, check out Curt Mangans Fusion match nickel wound. They last forever. Maybe that's the sound you're looking for?

This is retardedly subjective. Another reggae player might prefer fricken' piano wire while you like 9s. Just find whatever feels best for you.

Yeah agreed on all of you guys, it's more about what feels better to you. Strings don't even make a sound difference really.
