It's all what you think plays best, sounds best, and fits you the best. It's all personal preference.
I, for example, have and probably always will be a fender guy, but Gibsons, Ibanezes, Shecters, and Jacksons are all great guitars too.
Call me Wes.

preference once you hit a certain quality, and also depends on the music you play.

EDIT: value obviously comes into it too.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Jacksons! Okay, not really. The best guitar is the one that feels good in your hands and great to your ears. That varies from person to person.

again it's preference, but you can probably rule out guys who make jazz guitars, lol.

Gibson or Ibanez, it depends if you want more hard rock or more metal. Jackson will work too prolly, possibly Schecter or ESP. Helpful?
If you see me in the pit, know that I'm only there because the metal forum is moving slowly.
