You cannot choose the little time you're given in this world. You enter bare and unclothed, provided only with intelligence enough to choose how you spend your time. You always have a choice. Always. Though be warned, your choice can rarely be undone

Yea, I saw that a while ago; It's really cool. I gotta try that sometime.

how can i do that?

1) Put solid plate over big-ass amp
2) Sprinkle salt on
3) On your guitar, ensure you have as much sustain/gain etc as possible
4) Play the highest harmonic you can
5) Use one of those whammy pedals to increase the already high harmonic even higher.

Don't know if this would work, but i'm going to try sometime.

UGers, we have a mission.

1. Replicate this salt pattern thing and post a video with the results

2. Replicate this supposed anti-gravity thing that I found in the related videos http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fb6DA6Y4hjY&mode=related&search=

I'd do 1 but I'm at college without any of my good stuff and I'd do 2 but I'm too lazy.

That's deck.

Would it work with a different substance, such as sugar or sand, or is sodium chloride the only thing that will allow the experiment to be executed?

It would work with other things, yeah

Yeah, I watched a microscopic view of that the other day in 'Music and Culture'. It's pretty damn awesome. Water molecules do a similar thing too.

That would be amazing. I love microscopes. We were examining a prokaryotic organism the other day in my Biology lab class, and I thought it was fascinating.

I'm slowly coming to terms with how nerdy I really am.

Nope, guitar strings have too many harmonics, you'd need a pure sine wave.
