Self-explanatory title. Is it possible to get one within $500 or so? I've seen some VHTs and Mesas but they're very pricy.

I use a Crate Power Block that I bought new at Guitar Center for $99. You can even use a home stereo receiver if you want. You just have to cut or change the end of your speaker cable to plug into the back of the receiver. Works great.
