Strange how someone can get so excited over strings. I'm gay I just get Ernie Balls on whatever gauge I need....

interesting, i haven't tried those. didn't even know EHX made strings, lol.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

I didnt know EHX made strings either.. but I'm addicted to Dean Markley nickelsteels (10-52). And I have to disagree with the people who dont think strings make any difference. Ernie balls were bland to my ears, and D'Addarios were too stiff, very cable-like (even the 10s!) and they left a black residue on my fingers. I got some Nickelsteels and never looked back. I may try DR some time though, just for ****s and giggles. I tried some Black Beautys once, but it was on a Squier Bullet, so I didn't get the best tonal representation.
Then there's this band called Slice The Cake...

Bunch of faggots putting random riffs together and calling it "progressive" deathcore.
Stupid name.
Probably picked "for teh lulz"

i have EHX 9's on my strat right now. and compared to d'addario's, imo EHX has a better "feel" plus it is quite crisp. too bad i dont know a store selling them here in Canada. (the ones i have came free with my 1echo)
