Ahhhh, an old LW-400N. I assume it says Leyanda Series somewhere? I have the 12 string version (LW-1200N) and I love it to bits.

EDIT: Doesn't look quite as old as mine, or as good specs either (from sight). It's still worth it though. It just probably isn't as good as I thought originally.

EDIT2: You own an FG-130. Niiice.
Check out my AOTM (which it still is until tomorrow!!)

For £25 I would say it seems good to me. Does it say Leyanda Series then?

Yes it does. Is that a good thing? I have no experience with these guitars.

I was just wondering out of General interest. You don't see them that often. Mine is a Leyanda Series guitar, and I really like it, but more modern Hohners are now cheaply made and are all low end guitars really, but they made some good ones back in the 70s and 80s.

hi, iv just recently started playing a Hohner Arbor LW400N i found in my loft, just wondered if id discovered a gem or a piece of crap...?
P.S. done some research and i was interested to find that Arbor is a firm that specialises in eco friendly materials for boards.

um. if it sounds good i guess its a gem. i play a hohner hw350 and everyone loves its tone. i think hohners for the most part are great budget guitars

I just "saved" a Korean MW-400N from sure destruction from someone who had no respect for it (or his $2,000 instrument either). It's got some wear, dings, scratches, but I put on a new set of Elixir lights and I totally fell in love with it (this coming from an electric guy!). My question is...was the Leyanda line only mfg'd in Spain? I have a chance to pick up another MW-400N Leyanda for 35 GBP. Peace, Ziggy
