the strap button on my guitar keeps coming out. i screw it back in and it just comes back out as soon as i stand up with the strap on. what can i do to make this secure?

ok. this is how i did it, coz im wierd, but it worked.

get some of that stuff u seal a bath with and mix it with super glue apply it to the button and put the button in place.

best to leave it for 10 so it can set.

or,

you could just get a bigger screw n fit that to the gtar, done that b4 as well.

didnt work as well tho.

Put a matchstick in there, cut it to the length of the hole, then screw it back in. The screw will screw into the match and make a new thread on the actual wood of the guitar.


PS superglue the matchstick in when youre happy with it.

ive put regular elmers glue in ut also. that doesnt work. i think ill try the gorilla glue on first then see were i need to go.

yep, matchsticks seem to be made for this problem, not for making fire
