try to avoid ordering them off the net - they get warped, cracked, etc in the mail. like someguitarguy88 said, try finding an independent store-place-thing.

Or come to Holland, we have this huge event in Utrecht twice a year where there's people selling and buying thousands and thousands of vinyl records...

Ahaha, well, a lot of them are my parents and such, and a bunch of them suck pretty bad. I'd say we have 500 that I like maybe, so we're about even.

interpunk & angry young and poor are decent, but they are punk oriented.

Sears has them last time I checked.

Wal-mart will if they don't already.

I was all excited to discuss the nostalgia and ambiance that makes a vinyl record so awesome... not where to get them

I bought my very first (and second and third) vinyl record today. I inaugurated my collection with Rush's 2112. Also bought Rush's Permanent Waves and Jethro Tull's Thick As A Brick. They were all used but in decent condition. I listened to the first side of all three on my roommate's record player and I have to say that 2112 blew my pants off on vinyl. It sounded SO amazing...
