My budget is about £70, and i want a versatile pedal for anything from classic rock to death metal.
maybe a boss ds-1, but ive heard it sucks, so you could get maybe a big muff and an overdrive pedal for lower distortion tones
EHX Metal Muff? The only thing which came through my mind...
a little series called the proco RAT. the deucetone is very versatile and the different channels don't sound the same like some fools say. it's very good
sorry, i missed the budget part
I'll check out the metal muff and proco RAT, thanks guys
i have the DS-1, and love it, plus its really really cheap($40 USD), so you could get something else too.
A modded DS-1 would be super veristile.
I second the Proco Rat. I'd just go for the Proco Rat 2
Modded DS-1 or Metal Muff
Boss DS-1 , Pro Co Rat, MXR Distortion III. I wouldn't go with the Big Muff, it's one of those pedals that have a unique tone and dont cover the broad range. The rest would see you fine though.
EHX metal muff. i have it. i can anything from zepplin to children of bodom on it. great pedal. i'd advise it for anyone that plays almost any kind of rock.
