Daisy Rocks always seemed like a cheap flashy brand but i've never actually played one.

Anywho looking through the specs -Mahogany body/neck with pearloid it doesn't seem too bad. Actually the materials and looks are pretty good, though I advise playing one of these guitar before actually buying. You can never be sure of build quality or feel.

If she likes that, other options for a guitar might be an Agile, or one of the Epiphone LP style guitars.

You might even find a PRS SE within the same price range.

Edit: Have you decided on an amp?
If she doesn't already have one, it might be better to invest more money in a good amp, it'll really help with the tone.

Looked decent enough, but i'm only assuming this through reading the materials on the site.
I don't think it would be bad but I wouldn't recommend it either only cause I haven't heard of that guitar before. Hopefully someone else can tell you about that Daisy Rock.

But the other ones I listed like the Epiphone and Agile I heard pretty good stuff about.
The Epiphone especially cause I own one.

That Daisy Rock guitar has decent specs. Just get new pick ups.

I don't know about Daisy Rock craftsmanship though.

It doesn't fit my playing style at all so I figured it would be good for me

I played one at a shop like that for kicks as the guy there said it played as well as anything there, and I thought he was BSing me. They do play and sound ncie for the price, and are built quite well.

I havent heard any good things about them before, just bad things...you should probably try epiphone...and also consider a good tube amp
