I dont wanna get posts of why chose this IBZ and not a prestige. well, my budget is 700 USD and im taking in count how much the pickups for change would cost. also took in count the pickup change in the dean.

if you want to tell a guitar i didnt post, post its URL or a pic. prize under 700 USD, with good pickups. thanks for your opinions

i play metal (pantera, metallica, black sabbath, megadeth, iron maiden, children of bodom) and hard rock (gnr, scorpions), shred (steve vai, yngwie, satch), i hate nü metal so i dont down tune usually, maybe 1 song or 2.

i voted for the m400 but really the dk2m is nice as well

the ibanez is ****
I've played all of those and my personal favorite is the Jackson DK2M Dinky/ The M-400 is ia great guitar but you have to bring it to a shop and spend about $60 to set it up and make it feel nice. ESP LTD factory makes their guitars feel like **** when they ship them out.

Anyways, the Jackson has incredibley high output humbuckers and the Jackson Floyd Rose is as close to the original as you can get.

ESP licensed floyd roses don't work when you try to fine tune the high e string.

The Ibanez Edge III just sucks, plain and simple.

Overall I think it comes down to the Dean and the DK2M, I'd pick the DK2M since it has a maple fretboard which gives it a faster feel and better humbuckers all for just $55 more than the Dean.
Out of all of them I like jacksons the most so I would have to say
Jackson DK2

I've played the Dean 4 Floyd at GC, very sexy DiMarzio Humbuckers in it, great tone and sustain, the headstock is sexy too. I haven't had the pleasure of playing any of the other guitars. But, I have played a cheaper Ibanez RG, and they're nice guitars, so I'm guessing the RG420LTD is a great guitar too.
The M400 is the best in my experience (set neck and awesome pups), but I do have to say that the Jackson DK2M is a fine guitar...the neck's very good, the reverse-color inlays look great, and Seymours are always good. If only it was an original Floyd.
like in 6 months i will change the floyd to a khaler, so i actually dont care for the LFR (the ibanez cant be change for that as long as i know), correct me if it isnt true

DK2M gets my vote

But fools never move on.
I personally voted DK2M.
