hey. im not a piano player as such, but i like to use my keyboard to explore chord voicing and cadences etc. problem is, after a while i feel like my hands are getting weird cramps. im suspecting the problem to be hand positioning, placement on the keys or something.
Anyone care to help?
i need to get a better signature.

well, i don't know how long you've played, but it's probably just the lack of playing all that much. from what you said, it sounds like you don't play that much, and i think that when you do it hurts because you haven't gotten your hands used to it. also, you might not be playing the chords right, make sure you use your 1, 3, and 5 fingers not something like 1, 2, 3. hope this helps.

learn the 5 finger positions for the major scales (which is very easy if you give it a weeks practice) and youll get a good idea of the "piano hands"

*when you practice play 1-2-3-4-5-4-3-2-1-3-5 (1-3-5 together which will be the chord)

^i hope that made sense
