i was just wonder what everyone thought about the line 6 uber metal, i was thinking about getting one, but totalli not sure, i got a custom made prs from sydney with emg 85 (bridge) and 89(neck). so i was wondering if the line 6 will sound any good, i just got a line6 spider2... im prooobably gunna get the maximus destortis coz i found one on ebay for 150, but the uber metal is 100, so im asking for ppls opinions on both pedals, all comments welcome.

maybe you're not saying the right things? an amp likes to know you care.

No cause distortion pedals generally sound bad through modelling amps like the Line 6s.

Ok, then we'll talk about the pedals:
They both suck donkey balls.
Get a better amp.
Now do you see why this thread has gone the way it has?

Well if you decide to keep the spider and buy a pedal your sound will suck. I would not bother with a pedal, its not going to sound too much different from the spiders insane channel (especially the uber metal).

Even if the were good, modelling amps don't work too well with distortion pedals.

Yo wassup, I'm trying to expand my musical horizons if you know what I mean, so can anybody reccomend me some cool Juggalo jazz?

The Line 6 pedal will be no different then your amps sound.
And modeling amps don't mix well with effects pedals.

Seriously, listen to what the people say, a new amp would do you much better.
