I have had my frontman 15r for 3 years (getting a new one soon) and today when i plugged it in, it made this high pitched sound. I checked all of the connections and tried it again and this time the sound got higher pitched and louder than before. Is my amp done for good? Has anybody had any similar problems?

Thanks

I once saw somebody carry a Guitar Hero controller in a case to protect it. He probably should have packed his testicles in there too, seeing as he won't need to use those for quite a while.

I was playing through a Squier amp which is very similar and that's exactly the way it died for good.
