im a newb to bass and i cant pluck the strings without getting a little clicky noise!!!
can sum1 show me a vid or a pic or even explain how you get rid of the clickiness?

Your strings probably hitting the frets beneath. Try picking/plucking more lateral instead of pulling the string away from the body. You want it vibrating side to side, not up and down, although certain songs WILL want that clicking noise.

i know what your talking about.
my guitar does it too.
its nothing to do with hitting the pick ups.
it means your treble is turned up too high.
also.
you probably have a cheap guitar. like me. lol.

i heard covering the pick ups helps. but i dont know if you can cover pick ups on a bass.
i thought most of them just have single pick ups. i dont know.
