huh? that doesnt make any sense. A .exe file is a program.
Pleased to meet you, hope you guess my name.

No see, AVI is a video file and EXE is a program file. The two aren't... well... related. That's like saying you want to open a piece of music as a picture.

What you need is a program that allows you to play AVI videos and most players do including Windows Media Player.

What error are you getting when opening it the normal way? AVI is a universal program type that will work on standard MAC and Windows players.

Doesn't work that way, I'm afraid.

What you need to do is convert it to a format that will run on most computers. If you convert it to WMV format, it should run on any Windows computer. You could also try converting it to MPEG or something like that. But you can't make it an executable like you would with a program.

Add sound to what?

You mean you're using movie maker and need to add sound to a video? Then that's a movie maker problem.

Okay, what's it saying when you try to add sound?

Some files can be zipped into .exe files, instead of having the .zip thing at the end. Is that what you're trying to do...? In the end?
