I don't mean to sound like an asshole here but everytime someone asks for more ska bands they just get a bunch of people saying "Catch 22, Reel Big Fish, Streetlight Manifesto"

EDIT: Nevermind.

MU330
RX Bandits
Operation Ivy
Mustard Plug
Mad Caddies
Fishbone
Buck-O-Nine

Check these out and PM me if you like it and want more.

EDIT2: I just realized it sounds like I'm handing out n00dz.

noooo i like sublime. i was laughing at the fact that the kid said sublime as if i never herd them before, i dont think you can live in this day and age and not listen/like sublime.

edit: it was also the fact that i was asking for ska bands, and he named sublime.

There's so many ska bands out there. Check out wikipedias list.

The Planet Smashers and Mighty Mighty Bosstones are really nice too.

They are more reggea/punk. They have alittle first/second wave ska mixed into thier sound every once in a while

VooDoo Glow Skulls is a pretty sweet skacore band

but what you really need to check out is Suburban Legends those guys rule

CBGB wants to be famous like the others such as Green Day and Offspring. They don't want to be a underground punk band.

VGS get's a little old after a while but they do have tons of energy.
I love Suburban legends. They're really pop-punkish but still good.

The Specials, The Madness, The English Beat, Westbound Train, The Slackers, The Toasters, Hub City Stompers, etc.... There are to many of these topics and we all say the same things everytime. Search one next time.
#29
Less than Jake up to the point of Hello Rockview, Big D, Suburban Legends (but not their new album Infectious, it's like boy band ****, Rumpshaker to be specific), Common Rider is VERY good, and Skankin Pickle

Mustard Plug - Try "Throw a Bomb", "The Beer Song", "Brain on Ska", and a few more I can't think of right now
Los Kung Fu Monkeys - Try "Una Y Otra Ves". I guarantee you'll like that one.
Bandits of the Acoustic Revolution - Try anything from these guys. Basically just a Streetlight shoot-off, but amazing nonetheless. If you want something new from them try "They Provide The Paint for the Picture Perfect Masterpiece you will Paint on the Inside of your Eyelids." A mouthful, I know.
Suicide Machines - Try "Hey!" (one of my favorites) and "High Anxiety".
Mojiganga - Try "Uno mas".
The Slackers - Start with "So This is the Night".
Leftover Crack - "Gang Control" is a great ska song, although they're generally just punk.
Operation Ivy - Jeez...anything from Energy really.
The Expendables - If you like Sublime, you'll likely be a huge fan of these guys. Try "Right Time", "Road Trip", and "Bowl for Two".
The Specials - "Ghost Town", "Pressure Drop", "Skinhead Moonstomp", and "Skinhead Girl".

And of course The Toasters. First and foremost, "Two Tone Army", "Ska Killers", and "Johnny Go Ska".

If you like instrumental ska, more like a first wave feel, try The Skatelites, The Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra, and a bit of Prince Buster, specifically "Al Capone", "Judge Dread", "Ten Commandments", and "Madness".
