so i have acces to an ibanez tube screamer pedal and im wondering if anyone knows of any good settings on it to get a good alternative overdrive/distortion sound?

there's no 'standard' for that... you can turn and twist the knobs to you think it sounds great. It's all about your ears, not presets

ok thanks guys, i guess i was just having a lazy moment. ive got something im so eager to record that im trying to find a good distortion for it asap. but ill fiddle with my pedals

set everything to 12 o'clock and fiddle from there, also, turn up your amp as much as you can bare. TSs on already cooking valves sound awesome, love it. i have one.
