Not for myself, for my former guitar teacher. I don't really need delay.
I think he wants to set his spending limit around 180 bucks...Not sure.

I don't really know anything about delay, or what he's looking for in one...
So I'm just kinda reachin' for any kind of opinions at all.

Does anyone have any experience with these models:

I have the ibanez and think its a good cheap pedal. Eats batteries like crazy though so you would want a battery source.

i have a DD-3 and love it, it can be heard on 2 of the tracks on my bands myspace, the link in my sig. i went for the 3 over the 6 purely 'cause i didn't need the extra bells n whistles. its still a great pedal, especially for the price IMO.

you can get that toneblaster stack at the cost of your dignity.

The Boss DD-3, Guyatone MD-3 or a BYOC Delay. All cheap and brilliant

I consider myself to be really intelligent and I've gotten into a fight coz this kid thought it was nasty to put sour cream on enchiladas.

You should go with the Boss, they have a great rep with pedals.

It doesn't fit my playing style at all so I figured it would be good for me

i've used an original ad9. sounded amazing (though not quite as good as the original ad80 that my guitar teacher has and i love to **** around with). it has a really short delay time, though, so if your former guitar teacher wants a long delay he'll have to look elsewhere (hence why i only have a dd6 on my board right now).
