Im thinking of ordering either the EMG 81/85 set or the new Seymour Duncan Blackouts set, but I dont know which would be better. Theres no reviews on the blackouts, has anyone tried them?

I'm sure some people have, but you'll probably get a lot more saying they are great who have never actually touched them.

I've never tried them, nor do I know much about them. But I have heard that the Blackouts are more suited to solid state amps, while the EMG'S are better for tube. Whether this is true or not, I have no clue.
Be cool.

I've tried a few on my friends Jackson. I must say they do sound very nice for Hard Rock & Metal. I was pleasantly surprised.

Ill eventually get myself something really sweet, in the mean time I want new pickups, and then after that, Ill save up for a sick amp/head
