Hi guys ive been playing acoustic guitar for about 18 months

I thought hey why not write something so I came up with this - took me about an hour altogether to get it to this (over a few days)

Would love to hear some peoples opinion on lyrics and structure.
I cant sing to save my life so I guess you will have to try and guess how it sounds?!?

Strumming rhythm fairly standard - more up down up down strokes in chorus if that makes sense.

Thanks people go easy this is my first attempt!!! Oh and didnt know if it sounded nicer with Capo on 2nd fret.

Throw It All Away

cadd9.......................dsus..............D

laying on my bed with my mind running wild

cadd9.....................dsus..........D

time passing by all her clothes in pile

cadd9...................dsus................D

thinking about all the good times and bad

cadd9...................................dsus............D

still have those memories of all the fun that we had

BRIDGE

.....Am.............................C
but thats just the way life sometimes goes

............Am....................................C
when you win some you lose some and your head feels numb

......F ....................... N/C
its a shame that this is the end

Em.........................................G
Pick up Pick up Pick up yourself dont let it get to you

Em..........................................G
Pick up yourself Pick up yourself dont hide the truth

Em............A
another day another game

Em..................A
another story but its all the same

.....Dm.................Am..............E........................E........................E7
She wasnt worth the hassle so dont throw it all away throw it all away throw it all away

instrumental

cadd9.. cadd9.. dsus.. duss.. D

cadd9......................dsus..............D

laying in a field with my heart beating wild

cadd9....................dsus.........D

time passing by as we both get high

cadd9...................dsus................D

thinking about all the good times and bad

cadd9......................................dsus.......... D

wash away those memories of all the fun that we had

Well for one, a "Bridge" generally doesn't come right after the first verse. There are usually only one of them (occasionally two) and it comes about 2/3's of the way through the song.
Main Gear:
Cort G-Series 254
Takamine EG345C 12-String
Fender Squier P-Bass

Peavey Classic 50
