how good is the roland cube 15x compaired to the mg10? cos am lookin for a slight amp upgrade, i only need it for practise, so am thinkin either just the roland cube 15 x or go for the 20x, but i just wanna find out how good each is first.

I got the cube 20x.

its a good amp, can get lets of different tones out of it.

It's also got all the other little gadgets you want with an amp.

I never played a marshall mg10 so i wouldn't know about that.

gd ****, well my next question is... is it worth payin that extra £30 for the cube 20x instead of the 15x? bearin in mind i dont need to have 20 watts, since i dont play loud

u serious? that wee cube cant be better than the 15x, can it? i mean it doesnt look like it would give anywhere near the tonal variation the 15 would give

i dont really need that much power just to practise, i think the highest il go is the 20x.
but i just need to know if its worth gettin the 20 instead of the 15, or is there not much difference?

The Microcube is better than the 15x and the 20x.

The Cube series is known for it's amp modeling and effects.

THE 15x HAS NO AMP MODELING NOR EFFECTS.

The 20x has effects, but no amp modeling.

Get the Microcube.

The MG sucks ass.

^I'd let a pro look at it. Once you get into the technicalities of screws...well, it's just a place you don't want to be, friend.

whatever cube you get, it would still kill any MG you'll ever play

Idd, I'd rather gig with my 30watt something Roland Cube than a 120watt Marshall MG. The tone of the MG, especially the distortion just makes me want to hurt innocent little animals.

The MG series of amps SUCK! Please do not fall into the trap!
