so, im supposed to do a cover of reel big fish'cover of operation ivy's unity for an upcoming show, which is all fine and dandy. except for this: i have no idea what the **** aaron is singing.
if anyone can help me figure out what he's singing, please god, let me know.

here's a video of them doing the song with ali from zebreahead:
touch me

the part that i speak of begins at about 1:02.
so far it sounds like this too me:
[mumblemumblemubmlemumble] livin'
all those who are different [mumble] forgiven
we are all guilty, we are all the same
we are all guilty, we are all the same.

help would be much appreciated.

We are all on trial for the crimes of living
Arbitrary differences condemned and unforgivin
We are all different we are all the same

I'd say take the horn line and use it, but don't use that part, cause that's reel big fish's thing. Covering a cover is kinda lame. But that guy got it, so it looks like you're set. Good luck at the show.

op ivy's is a ska song, though.
And clenching your fist for the ones like us
Who are oppressed by the figures of beauty,
You fixed yourself, you said, "Well, never mind,
We are ugly, but we have the music."

Make up your own lyrics for that part. That's what makes a cover fun, making it your own.
