I setup my vanguard twice, and it stays in tune well, and the bridge is perfectly parallel to the body, but damn, the thing is stiffer than a fender trem.

I really gotta work to get it down.

I tried weaker springs, but they didn't hold it down well at all, and it wouldn't get parallel to the body with them. So in the end, I used to tight springs, and one smaller (thinner) weaker spring, and it loosened it a bit, but not nearly enough.

its a licensed floyd, but that's not what bothers me, it stays in tune fine, I just need to get it a bit looser so it can be more usable.

my strat has a smoother trem feel to it, this makes me feel like I'm lifting weights.

any way to loosen it up?
