I can play with any picks I've tried. But I think dunlop 2.00 (havent tried the jazzes yet, have too) is good, because they don't make those annoying sounds.

6mm??!?!?!?! You sure about that?

Anyways, I usually only use Tortex .88s or 1.14s. But sometimes I'll make an exception and use a light pick.

the other guitarist in one of my bands once refused to practice because he couldn't find any Jazz III picks

we had to stop what he were doing, go to GC and get him picks...

Dunlop Big Stubby 2.0mm

It feels so much more natural than your regular old fender-style pick, no matter what gauge.

i usually play with thinner picks, for brighter (imo) tone. I think that when they have some more flex to them you can play better, but tahts just me.
#19
6 mm? Can you even get between the strings with that thing?

Anyway, I'm a JazzIII guy all the way, usually red for some reason. I also have a couple of Fender Extra Heavy with pretty much the same shape and size as the JazzIII. Larger picks just don't work anymore.

They're strange at first (because they're so small), but once you get used to them they're brilliant.

Yesh, this is the pick I can't play without. So small and sharp...

I use those 1,5mm picks. I hate playing with thin picks, although 6mm seems a little too much for me haha.
