okay so i want to develop PERFECT technique. but im wondering is there a such thing as too slow? i'm practiing sclaes using alt picking at like 30 bpm, but going that slow i want to know

*should i keep my hand moving in between notes, or should i just make the smallest possible picking movement, keep my hand still where it is and not move it until the next note needs to be played?

*and any other tips would be nice. im not even sure what the questions are but anyone whos done the super slow to get fast route please help me out here. tell me anything that could be vital please.

go as slow as you need to. if you can play perfect at say 90 bpm than there's no reason to play a lot slower.
