I'm thinking of getting an Ibanez MTM2. My current tuning is AEADF#B and I am not sure whether the Trem III bridge's saddle will be able to move back far enough to handle an A on the top string and keep a proper intonation.

Do you guys think the Trem III / MTM2 be able to pull this off?

The MTM2 comes tuned in drop B from the factory, so I'm sure it won't hurt if you drop it a half step.

It should. The bridge plate (almost said trem plate) has two holes for the bolt which holds each saddle - one normal, where you would expect it, and one behind it if you want your saddle recessed to the extreme. I don't see why it wouldn't be enough.
