It's great for those sort of tones, but they're really expensive.

I haven't played it, but, from what I've heard they are excellent guitars. They're loaded with cool stuff such as piezo, and a fancy bridge.

yep it comes in 2 models the JP6 and the JP7. if you want to spend some more money you could get the BFR JP6/7 with a flamed or quilted top. and i believe there working on a baritone model.

- What is your budget? While the JP6 is pretty much ownage, you could probably get a good guitar for cheaper...

- What is your location, and are there any guitar shops nearby you?

- What music are you into? The JP6 is pretty versatile, you can play pretty much anything on it...

- What amp and guitar do you currently have? The JP6 will only sound f00king god like if you have a killer amp to compliment the JP6.

Also, here's a link to the JP6 on the Music Man website.

You should go into the store and try alot of guitars, and then when you find a few that you like, try those through some amps.

You wouldn't buy a car if random internet people told you it was good, would you?

What's your total budget?

Cheap amps are "that bad". They suck up your tone like cocaine at Kate Moss' party.
